I really debated posting this because this is a very touchy subject in today’s society, but here it goes. On Thursday the 1st of September, me and my military husband were traveling from Kentucky and decided to stop in Asheville to rest and see the city. We were very tired and decided to check out the nearby Whole Foods to get some food, which was walking distance from our hotel. As soon as we entered the store, we were targeted by one of the security guards who then continued to follow us around throughout the whole 10-15 minutes we were there. No matter where we went or which aisle we turned he was right there shamelessly staring. It became very clear that he was following us because he thought we were stealing. We had a cart we were pushing with all the merchandise in plain sight, for which we ended up spending over $70. Here comes the weird part, no other people were followed, and a good 99% of shoppers were of white race, except my husband, who is black. This was clearly racially motivated and it made us feel very uncomfortable. My husband did not want to make a big deal, but I will not stand for this kind of treatment, especially considering the times we are living in. Management needs to do better. No one who serves this country to ensure that people like that guy following us around continue to have a job and his freedom, should be ever treated that way in no establishment. Total shame!

Use whole foods a lot with Amazon when in person at the location in Asheville. Won't return again. Many of the staff really don't know what they're doing and the manager's should not be really managing a supermarket like this. They advertise sale items you get up to the register it's not on sale. Then there's a big argument with the manager. I just walked out and left everything there at the cash register

I love Whole Foods Market. The people that work there is Awesome.. I love the convenience of returning Amazon orders there and able to shop afterwards. Got my 1st ice coffee today at Whole Foods and it is delicious. Thank you for the awesome Customer Service from all the employees I have interacted with everytime I go to this store..THE EMPLOYEES ARE 5 STARS.. Thank you for all yaw do..

Their safety practices are excellent and they follow the Buncombe County Mask Mandate prior to opening and when opened. Unlike Trader Joes that allow their staff that is vaccinated to work without masks prior to opening and does not follow the mask mandate.

Staffing and mostly weather are likely at issue here. I am sure many people were trying to get deliveries prior to the storm. You can schedule ahead also, a day out if today is booked.

Depending on whether you're talking about the hot soups they have available daily or their variety of canned/jarred/dried soups. I would believe they'd carry no salt added soups.
