The instructors give the perfect amount of push for kids and adults alike - do your best but don't do yourself harm. No judgement, great for men, women, and kids alike!

No accountability like it was in the 80's. Kids steal and bully and nothing is done to correct issue. Sad older kid is allowed to pick on small ones then when you confront situation he gets all bent out of shape had he taken care of in first place would not have gone this far. Would not recommend till things change.

Wonderful place. Since my daughters started going here a few months ago they have both changed their tones. They now say Sir and Ma'am to everyone and are much more respectful. I have seen a few very young children have tantrums and Mr Wyndham handled it like a true professional. He has no problem getting down on their level and talking with them eye to eye. The other instructors are also wonderful with the kids and are teaching them valuable life skills.

What a wonderful facility for Aikido training. Sensei Wyndham is patient, knowledgeable and experienced to train children and adults. He makes it fun and engaging for the young children and teaches them respect for others as well as themselves. My 2 daughters have learned so much about how important it is to focus on tasks whether it is with Aikido training or their school work due to Sensei Wyndham's continued reminder of how important it is to be proud of who you are.

The techniques used for teaching depend on the class and the type of motivation needed for the individual. Instilling discipline is a necessary part of the training and there are also safety reasons for how motivation is handled. We help each student develop in the way that they need while at our dojo.

Please bring a notebook to take notes. We believe in memory on paper to solidify the information that we build over time.
Our preference is to do classes in-house but we will consider other situations on a case by case basis. Feel free to give us a call to speak on this together.
For your convenience, tuition should be paid on a month to month basis. There are no contracts!
We are open to providing self-defense classes for outside groups and organizations.
