While visiting my mother-in-law at Ridgecrest, I have had the opportunity to participate in a few of the activities scheduled for the residents. My hands down favorite has been joining the exercise program, which is run by Renatha. During our almost 3 week visit, no daily exercise program was the same. Who would have thought a drumming circle could be so much fun and be a great upper body workout! She does a wonderful job of keeping the participants engaged, keeping it fresh and really working with each of them to work on what they need to work on to maintain their independence. The men and women who attend this daily program have developed a community of fun, motivation and love. It is inspiring and I am grateful that as a guest, I have been able to participate in this program. Thank You

I started exercise class with Renatha Oliver at the beginning of December 2021. Between weight loss and exercise I have been able to get off of one of my blood pressure medications, decreased dosage of another. I also had pain in my back and knee. Since the exercise I no longer have pain in my knee and back pain has been greatly reduced. It also feels like a big family here.

We have a marvelous exercise program at 10:00 AM. THE wellness room is extraordinary. Our director is creative, full of energy and very caring about residents.
