Food was very good overall. We enjoyed both the haddock sandwich & shrimp scampi pizza, but chicken pot pie was a more like a soup than a thick pot pie. Waitress was WONDERFUL!

Great place to have lunch in Gloucester. Quite ok, but not top marks, because it needs that little extra that was missing here. Good lobster roll. The fries were the best imaginable. We had to ask for mayo. The children's pizza was apparently good. Very nice staff, possibly that we got a little too little attention. Clean and fresh.

Doug is amazing. Get the Dark and Stormy cocktail! He makes his own finger beer and it is life changing. Fantastic food and lovely atmosphere.

Topside is tops. The third try is the charm they say. Visiting Gloucester Monday we found Topside after two other restaurants we we tried were closed - one because of a lack of staff and the other for renovations. Anyway, we are glad because we ended up at Topside and discovered a nice restaurant, friendly staff, good food and a nice beer selection. My partner had the pulled pork and I opted for the haddock sandwich. Both we’re delicious and filling. We’ll be back.
