So allow me to shout out this BALANCE DAY SPA GREENSBORO, A BLACK OWNED SPA, especially after two back to back worthless experiences with The Spa at Grandover, Greensboro & Greensboro Day Spa & Salon! The Grandover does NOT have the simplistic technology to purchase an e-gift card, in today's technology driven world, but has the audacity to charge an additional $7 to mail me a physical gift card! Then Greensboro Day Spa literally referred to their website to review the packages if I'd like to purchase an e-gift card & hung up on me. I did call back & speak to the manager who offered to help but I was NOT going to buy a GIFT & send my Aunt to a an establishment where she may be mistreated......but they're ranked in the top 3 for CUSTOMER SERVICE! However, ALL IS WELL NOW.....I talked to KAYLA AT BALANCE DAY SPA, A BLACK OWNED BUSINESS & she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I asked her if they offered e- gift cards & they do! So, I told her the EXACT same thing I told the previous two ladies, which was, "I'm looking to purchase a full day package for my aunt's 61st birthday to include a mani, pedi, facial, & massage. What packages do you have?" We went thru what I asked for, some additional ad-ons, etc., & BOOM.....$300 LATER, I had EXACTLY what I wanted WITHOUT having to drive to the Grandover, wait for the mailman, figure out how to piece together the Greensboro Day Spa packages & prices........and ALL WITHIN THE MATTER OF MINUTES!!!!! I will actually be booking an appointment for myself during my next visit home, solely based on this one phone call alone! THANK YOU FOR THE INITIAL "EXPERIENCE" KAYLA! I will be pasting this Google review on both the other businesses as well, because they need to know that they lost this EASY MONEY! KAYLA IS THE PRIME EXAMPLE OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Hate to give negative reviews, but if I could give a zero star I would. Had a facial and massage scheduled for the same day. Got the facial earlier and said I would be back later for a massage. Facial was great, but front desk was extremely unorganized and bickering as I was paying. To make it worse, recovering from surgery so on crutches (which everyone saw) and when I came back for my massage I was led to the back and therapist (woman who was EXTREMELY condescending) explained to me I needed to wait 6 weeks or have a doctors note. Ok, fair enough. Explain to me how that isn’t a question when you put your card on file and schedule a massage???? When I was leaving the front desk didn’t say a word and neither did the therapist. I’ve NEVER been treated so rudely or poorly by a business before. Would not recommend based on their disgusting manners, rude staff, disorganization, and horrible alternatives. I had the surgery on my leg, maybe would have been nice for her to offer to do less time and my upper body, but no. Just wanted to make me feel stupid for not knowing I needed a note even when I talked to my surgeon and PT. There were also others unhappy when I was there due to wait times as well as people running over so the clients couldn’t even get in….. atrocious. Find somewhere else. Also not one person said they apologized for making me come in and turning me away. Will tell everyone to spend your money on a place with kind workers. Clearly been through a lot the last few weeks and the very very least they could do is be kind. Not hard.
