My purchase with McKinley Homes at the Townes of Marietta was nothing but 5 star service! From the start to the end Julia Meadows kept me up to date with everything that was going on with my home. She was so amazing and gave off so much great energy all the time! The builders Dirk & Garrett were also rockstars and really came through for me. It was worth the wait! Hands down as an agent in the Atlanta market, I can say that McKinley Homes offers the best standard features. I am truly impressed with the quality of my home. I would highly recommend McKinley Homes to anyone.

Brad Hendricks, the sales manager, pretty much told me to cancel my house contract after it's been delayed over 1 year! As opposed to trying to heed my concerns, he states I should just walk away because I clearly have to much mistrust in the company but that I should consider how much equity the house has in it as of now. Avoid a headache and work with another builder. Definitely avoid Brad as he's condescending and unempathetic.

Daughter and son in law are building in new subdivision, delayed from August to November. They paid for upgrades that now seem to not be what we were told were included after I had discussion specifically with sales person S to what the upgrade included. All to be oiled bronze confirmed, before upgrade added. All hinges were to be oiled bronze to match door handles, hinges and cabinet knobs. Yesterday interior doors were in garage and I informed sales agent that the hinges were not oiled bronze. She said it would be taken care of and correct doors would be reordered. Today buyers were back at the house and the doors are all installed with incorrect hinges. Hardware on kitchen cabinets, including hinges are all nickel. I am a designer by trade and have worked in many areas in the building process/ trade. There is nowhere ever, that bronze knobs are done with nickel hinges. It is becoming a nightmare for our daughter and her husband. This should be a good time and it is turning into a disaster. There is certainly a disconnect between the sales office and the building end of the project as far as the confirmation of specifics given at the beginning of this process. From other reviews, there seem to be other people with ongoing issues. We have tried to have issues corrected as we see them, and not have a multi page punch list, when it times for closing.
