What a lovely campground. My first time here and I was impressed. The owner & staff were very friendly and helpful. All but just a couple of the sites have a view of the water. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast enough for what we needed for casual use. We did not try to stream any shows, but there are paid options for higher levels of service through the internet provider. Almost all of the sites had shade from the lovely mature trees around the campground. Everything was kept impeccably clean. I stopped by one of the yurts that was being cleaned after checkout, and was impressed with both how comfortable it looked for lodgings and the level of detail that was put into the cleaning taking place while I was having a look. Definitely a place that I will keep on my list to return. We had a site with a deck overlooking the river. The site was level and well graveled. Do pay attention to the campground website details about driving to the park and the correct roads to take. The road to the campground is very winding but not very steep, and not a lot of traffic.

Very nice little RV camp. We really enjoyed it being so close to home. Some site are a little tight, and your privacy is limited. But over all a really nice park

They are not open all year. Close after Thanksgiving and reopen in March.
The owners live beside the office. My husband leaves msgs and they return call. May not be immediate, but he gets a call back. It's not a large site but it has full hookup and a creek runs around the back side of the sites. We go each year. No cell service but we love it. The road getting there is extremely curvy for about 4 miles or so. But we have seen 40 ft 5th wheels there. Makes us nervous pulling only a 27 ft trailer. Hope this helped. Call leave them messages. They book quickly.
You can.
The Yurt's are beautiful inside. I believe "no pets though". But if camping and need extra room for guests...give the Yurt's a try.
I probably would. Its a little tight going up the last stretch and going into the campgrpund.
If you would give the camp store a call at 828-724-9013 and we can give you an accurate price.
We do not not rent by the month. Sorry.
Great answer Mr. Church. Also the center of the campground should allow open views if your camp sight doesn't.
Not that we know. But there is a laundromat near the area Hardee's.
No, 28 days is the maximum you can stay! This isn’t a mobile home park!
Yes they do....This place is very nice, try to get a spot on the stream, so awesome... they also did a cookout which was excellent.... very nice owners and very peaceful place. Love this place we will definitely be going back....
Go out of the park and turn left. Take the winding road for abot 10 miles or until it ends. Turn left and their will be a Food Lion in a small strip mall on your left.
From what i read on their Facebook page, they are good to go.
This place is very nice place, there is a stream that runs along the property and a huge lake nearby .
Yes, they even have a small dog park for your pet to run around in.
They have a nice Shelter w big fireplace and large TV.
