I have what I think is a white oak that came down this week, can you give an estimate on having it milled, I'm in lake lure

Cost depends on the type of Wood. White oak is the hardest wood to mill and takes longer than pine. It also depends on how you want it cut. Slabs verses actual boards and thickness of boards, then it also depends on the length and width of the log its-self. Obviously the bigger the log, the longer it takes to mill. 6ft log verses 12ft log or longer. Hope this helps some but its really impossible to say witout looking at it. Please consider B&B for all your milling needs.
