Really great place with very friendly staff. There's only one guy I try to avoid getting help from but there's enough people working there to make up for it. Very expensive but not more than to be expected from a local place trying to compete with big boxes.

I go to Country Paint and Hardware almost every weekend. So much more convenient than the big box where it’s difficult (or impossible) to get help. Between the gas saved from traveling and the reward points, it’s worth shopping locally! It’s amazing how much is available here. If they don’t stock it (99% chance they do) they are happy to search and order it for you. So friendly! Old country store feel with big box selection.

I am new in town and I don’t live that far away from this store. As I was walking into the store, I received a call from my neighbor. I passed by two employees…not a hello or can I help you…nothing. I found what I needed and then went to the counter. Three employees walked by me like I didn’t exist. I stood at the ring up counter for some time, the employees continued to walk by me. Yes, I was still on the phone with my neighbor, but has anyone ever multitasked before? I was still not addressed. I asked if I could get some service and one of the employees said, well you are on your phone. Little did they know, I was there to inquire about a smoker, and small appliance and the item I had in my hand. I was going to purchase those items, but those employees chose for me. Worst experience since I have moved to Guilford. I will never shop there again.
