Kara at the front desk was so incredibly helpful when our plans changed and we needed to change our (non-refundable) reservation. She went out of her way to change it for us without any problem. Then when we arrived, the hotel was clean, the staff were polite, and there were lots of convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room itself was very spacious, clean, quite, and very dark when we pulled the room darkening curtains closed (so many hotels don't bother with room darkening curtains for some reason and they make a huge difference!). The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept really well. It was honestly the best night of sleep I have ever had in a hotel room, and I am not a good sleeper, especially when I'm not in my own bed. In the morning, we had the complimentary breakfast which had plenty of options for everyone. The coffee was hot and tasty. Overall, this hotel really is such a gem and we will definitely stay again next time we come through Butler!

The beds are really, really uncomfortable. The pillows are awful, the blankets are worse. The matress is okay. Staff is fantastic, helpful, and friendly. Actualy they are beyond a fantastic hotel team and should be given pay raises and better benefits. All 3 stars are from the staff. 2 stars were removed due to the beds.
