We had a wonderful weekend at the campground!! Everyone was so friendly! What a treasure the campground and livery are ....right on the Thornapple River! We met Chris, one of the employees. What a great man, so friendly and knowledgeable. Spent time out of his busy day to really make us feel welcome. We have already booked another trip for the fall and convinced our son to come for a fishing trip!

The campground was clean and maintained. There are a lot of seasonal sites. The staff was amazing and answered all our questions with a smile. We stayed close to the office on the front circle and it was great. Site was level and shaded. The map does not indicate the large hills to get the the back of the campground where the playground was so we didn't visit that area. The playground could use a little maintenance. We ended up kayaking one day and the river was amazing. Lots of deer flies, so bring your bug spray. We did not go into the pool, but it did close early. The shower house was okay, could use a good deep cleaning. There is no fenced in dog run so we walked up to the road and use the parking area for bathroom.

We took a trip from Ohio to Michigan so we could kayak on a different river. The staff at this campground from check in to transporting us and our two poodles was so smooth and easy. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back and launch from your place. Two poodles.

super friendly staff. really clean and organized. the pond and park is super nice. very positive and uplifting place to come and stay! recommend to everyone. so welcoming. pool is warm and very well maintained. walking trails all around. the campgrounds store has pretty much everything you’d need. peaceful. 10/10.

Sure, but they must be kept on a leash, picked up after, not left unattended, and not interfere with other campers enjoyment of the park.
