Just stayed two nights for a work trip. Clean room and hotel. Stairway had a strong chemical smell that was horrible. Breakfast was normal for Hampton. The pool was disappointing. It was hot and had a bunch of little black bugs floating everywhere. Big bummer after a long day in 100 degree days. Filter didn’t appear to be on and no one cleaned it the two days I was there.

I was very happy with our stay here. Front desk person was very helpful in whatever our need at that time. Its very clean and good breakfast. Nice location. Its only 40+ miles to Lassen Volcanic South entrance. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We were working a job locally and needed a place to crash for the evening. We called in at 11pm and Marcus pleasantly answered the phone to book our rooms for the night. We got in around 3:30am and Marcus had our keys waiting there ready at the desk. He greeted us by name with a huge smile. He was extremely friendly and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I'm a Hilton gold member and travel a lot. I only disclosed this after our interaction to add our member number to the room so it wasn't a preferred status thing. I've stayed at much higher end Hilton chain resorts and seldom receive the service Marcus gave us. Very happy we stumbled across your hotel. Thank you Marcus!

The best staff hands down!! I felt extremely welcomed and the room was superb, beyond my expectations for the price! Free breakfast was more then expected. I did not once hear any other guest during the night or day…kind of sound proof rooms, great for people with children.
