Expect your order to be missing items or wrong. I have ordered online (via DoorDash) 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Every order was missing items or incorrect. For instance, I ordered chips and queso last night, but only received the chips. An order of large chips and queso is $11 - I am not complaining about missing a condiment/frivolous item. Last week, I received tacos with no meat! I ordered barbacoa tacos last week and there was a tiny sliver of meat in each taco. The week before that, I ordered a quesadilla with sides of rice and sour cream, but only received the sour cream. I could go on with examples, but you get the idea. At the end of the day, it is my fault for continuing my patronage (I just can't resist the guac). All it would take to solve the problem is for management to appoint one "quality control captain" for online orders. I have a feeling they don't have an extra employee to spare, or there is little oversight from this area's general manager (I suspect the latter is true, based on the terrible reviews at other Sarasota locations). I am being generous with 3 stars because I have been ordering from this location for 3 years without major issues. It was on par with other Chipotle locations (which is a low bar). I understand the long wait times or occasional mistake - it happens everywhere that handles online orders. This was the only Chipotle location that overcame the serious operational issues. I am curious to know what happened in the last month to cause a steep decline in quality control.

This Chipotle employees move slow like molasses. EXTREMELY slow and there is food ALL over the food line table and by the register. I told the check out employee that there was food everywhere and he said “I know.” Unacceptable. Makes you really wonder how clean the food is. I wonder what a restaurant inspector would think…

When we were there, physical distance, all staff were masked.
Yes, I work right next to them and they were open, as we were too.
