Museum of the history of the US Coast Guard from its earliest days to the present with insights into key events. Small but well cared for. It is located inside the Coast Guard academy so at the entrance you will be stopped and you will have to show a document to the guard staff who will direct you to the museum. (Strolling around the base is not allowed) Free admission

The museum at the CG Academy is free. You just need to show an ID at the gate.
