I’ve been coming here for some time and the business keeps getting more poor In cleanliness each time. The workers DO NOT wear gloves when dealing with your food- which I sincerely find gross and unpleasant. The gloves that they do have on the counters that they neglect to wear are disposable- used- dirty gloves! The business needs a big wake up call - it’s not just about “bagels” it’s also about how the bagels are made and the cleanliness behind it. The store needs a lot of deep cleaning as well.

Best bagels I’ve had in a long time. Egg everything is delicious, lox is fresh, reasonably priced. Highly recommend for authentic hand rolled bagels

Amazing bagels! Try the flat ones with a schmear of buttah! Yummy! Be warned you will be charged $.50 for nothing. Bagels $2.50 on menu board. He charges you $3.00 or go with exact change. 🤦🏻‍♀️

You can’t find a better bagel! Barbara’s is an institution in the neighborhood for a reason. Skip the places with fancy frontage and come here for a true NY bagel.
