Does anyone else feel like they’re getting robbed on “surprise bills”? I spoke with the billing department and supposedly it was from a visit about a year ago. How is a health institution going to take that long to prepare a bill? It’s extremely outrageous especially having it come out to $300. Something needs to be done with this.

Waited an hour while they took walk ins with no appointments. Watched staff surf the web and eat breakfast. The first impressions are bad

Dr and nurses are ok but the people booking appointments and checking you in have the worst most awful attitude known to man. A lot of different encounters always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Arrogant, rude and self centered is a few words i can say about the staff who checks you in and makes appt or give you updates on future procedures!

This health care facility has grown so much. It has so much to offer. It is still growing big. So grateful there are people who still want to be in the health care field. Thank you all for your services. You guys are so awesome.

They do accept state insurance. If your child has a primary care doctor he/she should be able to make a referral. Otherwise contact family medicine/internal medicine and ask to be seen as a new client.
Yes, the knee replacement is at orthopedic and sports medicine department at uconn health

Hi, thanks for writing. No, the buildings on the Farmington campus are not connected by tunnels. There are walkways between some buildings, such as the walkways from Garage 1 to the Outpatient Pavilion and to the Musculoskeletal Institute. To travel from building to building, we have a shuttle service.

If you're asking about the blood draw lab, it opens at 7 a.m. Here's a list of the hours for UConn Health blood draw labs: https://health.uconn.edu/clinical-lab-pathology-services/clinical-and-outreach-services/blood-drawphlebotomy/
Not sure. What's her profession?
Probably not ,I would go there and explain you need help.
Yes, but very limited
Go to outpatient pavillion, UConn Health
Yes they can, but they can fix it also! They are very good there.
In theory yes, but the dental clinic that you can be easily seen at is not a free clinic. As long as you are willing to play they should do it assuming they are taking new clients.
Yes
Which department?
Nope. I had 3 removed there.. Husky d covered the Gas also.. A surprise as I require gas anytime I have dental work due to anxiety, I usually have to pay 40 bucks, however UConn said more than two teeth and the insurance covers the use of nitrous as well and covers the extraction so you're good
Insurance companies all have different ways policies for copayment. Please check with your insurance company.
