Now called The Fig & The Pheasant. We ate there a few weeks ago. The food and service were good, but we were glad that one of the members of our group, who needs a walker to get around, wasn't with us, because there is no handicapped access. We were told that the entrance could not be remodelled because the building is historic.

So disappointed tonight. Service was terrible in every way. Took over an hour to get our food which was the wrong order for both. So more waiting. Had to ask for silverware and napkin, water, check. Had to wait again. Fish was extremely salty and greasy. No coleslaw, dried out bread. Table next to us had issues too but at least had a better server. Not busy so don't understand. We've noticed a decline over last year but this was the worst. With hardly any restaurants in Plymouth, this is sad. Restaurant down the street had 20 minute wait. Next time we'll wait. Over 2 hour dinner experience would have been fine with good food and service.

Charming venue for a family get together while visiting family in Plymouth. The room we were in was warm and full of character, beautiful ceilings. The food was great. I ordered the Irish Rashers Cheeseburger. The meat was very tender and flavorful. It was cooked to what I would expect for medium as I ordered it. Their fries were also fantastic. Most of the people in our group enjoyed their meals with only a few having minor complaints about their mashed potatoes be a bit too cold. Service was prompt and courteous despite the minor delays in getting the food from the kitchen to our table, took about an hour from order time go eating time. The quality of the food was well worth the wait. Would definitely recommend 52 Stafford to family and friends looking for delicious food in the Plymouth area.
