I am late giving this review but I echo all of these great comments! I went in with my sister a few months ago for some advice on an inherited coin collection. We were treated very nicely and received good information!

Whether you are looking for stamps, coins, precious metals, or other collectables, ACSB should be your one stop shop. Rich & Eric are extremely knowledgeable across many different areas and are super easy to work with.

Very knowledgeable place. Thank you so much for your honest estimates.

This is a very specific area of collecting. It would be more luck of the draw on this. ACSB will have some types of medals from the 1700s on to modern day. Last collection I saw related to firefighting was an button collection from the irish brigade/fire houses in new york city from the 1860s to 1910s. Very rich history!
I'm a coin guy, really have no interest in stamps, sorry. Have you tried speaking with Eric or his father at American coin and stamps in Merrick on Merrick ave?
The 1936 D is a common date wheat penny. If it is a typically circulated piece it's worth about 5 cents. If it's uncirculated it could be worth more.
