The most loving care for our fur babies and seniors. After loosing 2 pets I became a volunteer and got to see first hand just how dedicated the crew and it's leadership is . They really make a difference.

My cat had a huge tick on his chin when I got him. They never bought him to the vet. A family member’s cat was never dewormed, experienced serious leg problems, and she was accused of cat abuse. This agency is horrible, fails their adoptees, and then is cruel to the people adopting them. Go somewhere else:

They have information on their website www.theanimalhaven.com or check out their Facebook page
$175 cat $200 for a kitten We are increasing our prices July 1,2018. This includes fiv felv test (negative) rabies distemper and spayed/neutered
No we do not have any labs at this time :( However look on petfinder and our fb page periodically or even lab rescue!
We can always use fleece blankets for the animals in the shelter. Thank you!
That is amazing and 89 Mill Road North Haven ct thank you so so much :)
I highly recommend this shelter for adoption they do a great job but I don't work there so I don't know about their intake policy. You should contact them directly.
I believe they are accepting donations. They also have a drop box for pet food donations.
I don't volunteer there I recently adopted a cat from them but I highly recommend them Michele and her team are amazing
No, there is an application and you need to provide references and they will contact your vet about current pets vet records.
I did that when my grandmother passed away because she loved animals so people could make donations in her name. Every time someone donated I would get a card letting me know that someone had donated (along with their name unless they decided to remain anonymous). I don't know if they still do that but I would imagine they do.
Right now, Animal Haven is replacing its ventilation system and renovating so it isn't accepting new cats at this time. Maybe in a week.
Yes, Animal Haven is always looking for loving volunteers to help care for their rescue animals. More information on their website.
