Positive: I realize the location is in a very rural area. There was a smell when you entered the lobby. My sister was in the handicap room, and the same smell was in her room as well. They had to open up all the windows and doors to try to get the stench out Negative: Again, the smell in the lobby was horrible as well as my sister's room. We were in Mariposa for a funeral with many family members (we had four rooms). Thankfully, the upstairs rooms did not have that smell.

Positive: The best was being up in the gold country. So much better than just staying in Merced or on of the valley cities along the way.. good air, great people in Mariposa, no homeless folks going through the dumpsters watching your car, We will be back again. Negative: toilet ran ...other minor deferred maintenance

Enjoyed our stay, hotel was clean and neat. Room a little small for three adults. We had no tv service (cable or similar) but never got around to asking what was up, just watched streaming on my child’s computer. Staff was helpful. Microwave oven very useful.

Positive: Location and pricing decent, not too crowded. Negative: Toilet flush a bit weak (clogged once). Weekday breakfast a bit underwhelming (no waffles, few bread choices, only cold hard boiled eggs). Weekend added a waffles and a few other breakfast items.
