I come here to be alone and have personal time in nature. No matter when I come, there is always a secluded, peaceful spot to listen to the surf, watch the birds and sit in the grass.

GORGEOUS lake park with clear water, views of surrounding Berkshires, paved walking/biking path, playgrounds, and tons of picnic tables spread around wooded as well as sunny areas. Lake bottom is Sandy no weeds -a little squishy here and there but paradise compared to most mountain lakes or ponds. I wish I could come every day in the summer !

There were three lifeguards working. The roped off area is nice with kids. Very rocky though I recommend water-shoes.
