There’s No doubt that the talent Jacob’s pillow has is exceptional- But the venue itself has MUCH to be desired. The cafe has the most reprehensible food and food choices I’ve ever seen at at a Classy venue such as this. They really need to up their game. Do t come there thinking you can grad a Quick bite - HORRIBLE…

Went to see Jose Limon. Spectacular and beautiful. Unfortunately the performance was marred by the oppressive heat inside the Ted Shawn theatre. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Charging people 60 to 90$. You need to enter the 21 st century. Mandatory masking- good. No ac. On a 94 degree mind boggling. We love the pillow this is not ok. Be considerate and respectful of older patrons get ac or commercial fans. Do not come on a hot day unless you like being miserable

Hi Sandie, yes, we offer several dining options this year! Our restaurant (The Pillow Cafe) is open for dinner Wed-Sat, 5-9pm and for brunch: Sat-Sun, 11am-2pm this summer. You can make a reservation by visiting jacobspillow.org/pillow-dining
Hi Russell. When the renovated Ted Shawn Theatre reopens in June (after several years of major construction!) it will include a new ventilation system and eco-friendly ice-chilled air cooling, so that audiences this summer can enjoy a level of climate control that was never possible in that venue before. You can read more details about this major project on our blog: https://www.jacobspillow.org/picks/things-we-love/first-look-renovating-the-historic-ted-shawn-theatre/
Hi Jodi – yes, the program detailed on the Miami City Ballet webpage (including Serenade) will be performed in full at each performance that week. https://www.jacobspillow.org/events/miami-city-ballet-2022/
There are free shows on the open air stage every day. Tickets are for the theater performances, generally, and it depends on what time of day, I believe. You can go and walk the grounds for free.
