My son was attending a camp at the local college so my dad and I stayed here. First off Don put us in the most convenient room for my 79 year old dad. He cared that much to accommodate him first! He was kind, attending to all of our questions on the area and always ready with breakfast in the am! We enjoyed chatting with him very much! The place was beautiful and clean. We Could never hear any noise from others staying there. We will definitely stay again- it was such a pleasure! Thanks Don! ~Lisa and Juan

Rose Corner Inn is a beautiful, historic inn located in the heart of downtown Hillsdale with a kind host who warmly welcomed us to his spacious home. A filling breakfast in the dining room included eggs, a large bowl of freshly cut fruits, delicious pastries, juice, tea and coffee, so that we could eat at our leisure and not wait for anything to be cooked. The rooms were clean and well-kept. Lovely, large bathrooms supplied with plenty of towels, supplies, antiseptic wipes and sanitizer. The host, himself, was beyond generous with his time and his home as we sat outside on the covered porch in the evening, protected from any mosquitoes. The library was also available for us to sit and enjoy if the weather were too cold. He also left a key for us to use, if he locked up before going to bed. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come to Hillsdale and highly recommend this beautiful inn for anyone seeking a warm, welcoming place to stay.

I haven't stayed but know people from out of town looking for accommodations. The add shows a picture of a cooked chicken yet from other reviews people mentioned no hot food served to which Don Hernandez has commented its only cold food.
