I needed a second opinion on my sweet Shih Tzu's health condition and was referred to Dr Andrist by my sister-in-law. The entire staff was pleasant and friendly; the vet tech and Dr Andrist were kind and gentle with Becca. And, Dr Andrist discussed Becca's diagnosis and treatment with knowledge, compassion and professionalism. It was great going to a vet that you could tell right away, loved her patients. Dr Andrist will definitely be our new vet, even though they're twice the drive!!

East State and their staff have taken excellent care of me and my dog for the last 3 years. They are consistent and honest and I've never felt pressured to perform unnecessary tests or care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in Fort Wayne.

Been going to this place for years. Everyone is always so nice and really personable with your pets. They definitely do NOT treat your pet like a number. Dr. Dziak is outstanding!!!

I have been going to East State Veterinary for over 15 years. Very satisfied with my overall experience with them . The staff is very friendly. I had to take my dog to Emergency Hospital, after hours. I phoned East State the next day and spoke to them about her emergency. Later that day a veterinarian phoned me and asked me how she was doing. She said they were very busy but they could make room to see her. Very pleased that they were concerned about her. I highly recommend.

How do you get a cat to stop biting

Use body language that tells the cat no. Teach the cat what no means and use that. Should work.
