I personally have had a great experience here. I wish they could do something about answering the phone. I have been calling and even at one point left my phone on my tool box for an hour with no response. When I leave my number to call back I'm working,which I cannot hear my phone ring. Just need to reschedule an appointment for my dad. Guess he just wont show up. Lol

Dr. Self is a great ophthalmologist- he preformed my cataract surgery with superb results. He is very likable and takes wonderful care of my eyes.

We are very lucky to have specialists at this location in Statesville but, they are all out of Charlotte and can only visit Statesville once a week. So, the place is always slammed trying to take care of the many patients that need to be seen. For extensive eye problems, expect to be there for 1-3 hours waiting. All of the doctors are very good though and most extended procedures can be done in Statesville but, others have to go to downtown Charlotte for the procedure and then, back to Pineville, south of Charlotte for follow up the next day. That in itself, is a huge pain. We do what we have to do.

I love this office. Dr. Sabo and Dr. Antoszyk are both great. Very friendly and professional. Both are very careful to coordinate a certain medication I take with my eye care because it can cause issues with my eyes. All the staff are so nice also. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good eye care practice.
