Ingles has always been the favorite place to shop. They just built a Food Lion closer. Ingles is, at this time, stocked better than any store, grocery or Walmart, that I've been in since they started creating a food shortage. They have most everything you buy regularly, and in various brands. They're the only place I've found Hamburger Helper "Potatoes" Stroganoff in the last probably 6 months. They always higher priced than other grocery stores, on many (most) items. But... If they're closer to you than a Food Lion, the gas driving to get to the other and park will fill the difference. Their "lost leaders" are generally a good reason to shop there. I go for certain types and cuts of meat. Or their ice cream. Wide aisles, and a full store are a big boon right now. While I love this grocery, higher prices keep me shopping, regularly, closer to home. But if you're looking for something and can't find it anywhere, Ingles is always a good bet to have it. And right now, that's a good thing. They're cheaper than the Lowes food stores, and Harris Teeters I've been in. They do have an "Ingles rewards" type card to save with. And at holiday time, points earned by spending accumulate for the Thanksgiving meal. Two other boons... There is a USPS mail drop box on the sidewalk curb in the parking lot of this shopping center, and. Tractor Supply Store on the very end of the same complex. Since Kmart closed and TSC is only a small portion of that old area, there is not much traffic and a gazillion parking places.

Employees have good attitudes. They have things you can't find at other stores, just a little on the pricey side.

Some prices are good. But like Walmart and food lion they don't put out alot of what they have on sale.. Instead of mvp cards why can't they just give the discount to start with.. Walmart has sale prices but if you don't check when you check out alot of them come up the normal price. We know it's because they know most people won't notice til they get home then most won't go back
