A public library that used to be a monastery, and all the gorgeous architectural remnants are there to discover as you stroll the once holy grounds. Since monasteries originally gave us libraries, its poignant. Worth a visit for sure.

Good spot to chill and read a book or two! Staff was pretty helpful with getting a new library card. Also best place in town to play some Pokémon GO!!!! I choose you!!

A beautiful, cozy and well stocked book shelves located on the historic Monastery. Walking trails abound throughout the grounds. A real town treasure.

Depends on which you ask! I've been there over 25 years and haven't seen anything, but others might have. The Ghost Hunters believed they found some evidence.
Yes, they do.
I personally have never seen anything to indicate that it is haunted. I have worked here for over 25 years. Others have said they have experienced things. The TV show Ghosthunters was here in 2013. We have the DVD if you would like to borrow and see what they found!
Yes! If we cannot use them in the collection, our Friends group sells them in their bookstore. All proceeds go to library.
You can stop into the Teen Center and speak with Liz Gotauco, our teen services coordinator. She can help set things up. I believe she is already full for the summer months, though.
This Saturday, July 7th, is our first Summer Saturday. Hours are 9-1
We take any books but text books and Reader's Digest Condensed books. If we cannot use them in our collection we give them to our Friends group to sell in their bookstore. Thanks!
