The Wallingford Walking Trail is on a former farm that the Town of Wallingford was wise enough to purchase as open space. Eventually a trail was developed on both sides of the road. There is a huge glacial rock at the start of one side. Please see pictures and on the other side a pond and circular trail. The trails are not long but well worth your time for wildflowers, wildlife birds and more.

A nice little area. Probably would be great during the summer with all the fields and wild flowers. Looks good for butterflies.

Great little place to go for a walk or to bird watch. Very diverse wildlife can be seen here from bobcats to ospreys and even giant snapping turtles. Its worth the visit

Love coming here but it could be a little better maintained! The lot is covered in Cigarette Butts and grass is very long around pond but overall still a really nice place!

It's a short rathet bare trail. I wouldn't recommend walking off the path as we've gotten multiple ticks from the grassy area. However the large rock, few trees, and bench would be okay to place geocache if you're interested.
Yes the trail is paved
No, town hall/public works would be your best bet
