We were greeted by one of the most rude bartenders… if you even call it a greeting. We asked about three times if it was seat yourself and she finally snapped at us that it was, and there were only high seats and outside tables available. We tried to just look at the high tables, as I had my 3 year old son. My boyfriend simply said to me, in a simple conversation that the high tops were a little high for him. I WAS going to check out the outside, to which point the bartender AGAIN snapped “I know you have the kid, that was what I was trying to tell you.” We left embarrassed. With this type of poor service and attitude, new ownership won’t be open much longer. Had the bartender not wanted to deal with us she could have just simply said they were on a wait, or that they weren’t serving any more customers at this time. If anyone wants a great tavern meal, and exceptional service I encourage you to skip ludlow and check out the Lookout Tavern in Killington. We will never return to the loft!
