The atmosphere was lovely even if it was crowded. The service was amazing, very tentative and fast. I will say the food was nice except the potatoes. They had no flavor on them at all. The scrabbled eggs with hardboiled in them were nice. My family had a good time and that's what matters.

Our hosts upgraded us for our anniversary which we so appreciated. The Inn is spotless with great attention to detail. We felt like we took a walk back in time as all the decor resembled a country inn at the turn of the last century. We loved loved loved everything about this inn, including the many events going on in the banquet rooms. The staff was welcoming and the continental breakfast was nice too. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed one night in mid September. Staff was professional. We ate dinner at the Oak and Vine. Entrees were nicely done. Very good beer selection on tap. Cheese souffle was heavy, but very rich and tasty. We picked one of the smaller rooms on the third floor and there was only one other couple on that floor so noise levels were very low. I could only hear cars on the road if it was dead silent. There is some sagging to the building, creaky floors, creaky stairs, but our plumbing was up to date and worked perfectly. Central AC was adequately quiet. I think there is only one thermostat per floor. I peeked in the larger rooms with the king beds- they are huge! And nicely decorated. There is a small swimming spot for guests- you'll need directions but it is walkable and we loved it- once you go out 50 feet there are no more rocks or mussels, just fine sand. Walk carefully that first 50 feet. At 100 yards out it is 4 feet deep.
