Firstly, it's very suspicious all these new 5* review being submitted by accounts that are BRAND NEW and that only have ONE review on record... this. Second, if there's never a call back given, then stop lying to people that you'll call them back. All agents, how many?! Get more! No one available ever.

GIC’s new online portal has made it easier to review my benefits and make necessary changes.

Enrolling in benefit programs with the new GIC portal was very quick and easy.

I live in Florida and have the indemnity plan.
I am currently experiencing this issue and absolutely infuriated with the way things are being handled. Its awful!!
They are eliminating the Fallon, Tufts, and Harvard Pilgrim non medicare plans. Under Medicare, they are eliminating the Fallon, Tufts, Health New England, and Harvard Medicare plans. If you have any of those plans, you will have to change during the Annual Enrollment.
My husband was not given any help. GIC did cover hearing tests but that is all.
Yes. I have been trying to get on the website for 2 days. Keep getting 500 internal server error message
Harvard Pilgrim will be eliminated effective July 1, 2018. If you have the Harvard Medicare plan, Unicare is the most comparable. They are both Indemnity plans which allow you coverage nationwide. If you are enrolled in the Harvard Independence, you will have the option of Unicare Basic, Unicare PLUS, Unicare Community Choice, Health New England, or Neighborhood Health Plan. Call the GIC for assistance narrowing down your options.
Refunds have to be calculated and approved. The refund checks go out once a month. If it's been over the time frame, I would encourage you call the GIC and ask to speak to the Supervisor of the unit. It will get it moved quicker.
If you are a State retiree and are not eligible for free Part A? You are not required to enroll in Medicare. GIC allows you to stay on your regular non-medicare plan as long as you send proof from Social Security that you are not eligible at this time. You may also qualify through a spouse or former spouse as long as they are over age 62 and have 40 quarters.
