Fast service, when place isn't crowded, they don't allow call-ins anymore which is bizarre. Other waffle houses allow you to save time before work and call-in.

I visited this Waffle House during a cross country road trip today and sat at the bar. The team working was a group of extremely kind individuals, all of them smiled, took great care of their customers, and used every opportunity to take care of side tasks and clean up the store. On the line was what I thought was the General Manager. Towards the end of our meal he finally turned around long enough for me to read his nametag, and turns out he’s the District Manager, and his name is Mike. I’m a district manager for another national food chain and I specialize in leadership development. Mike is an INCREDIBLE boss. Even in the middle of a busy rush, he worked the line and treated every single employee with respect, calling them ma’am or sir, thanking them when they fulfilled an order or request, encouraged them throughout the whole rush and when it was over, told everyone how well they did and thanked them. This is a person that people love to work for!! And I loved witnessing a great guy do his job well.

This waffle house is accessible off 270 as well as the bike path. I used it both ways. They know me by first name. They have my Chili, grilled cheese and hash browns ready. I stay a comfortable 30 minutes and reflect and visit. Great atmosphere. Bring the bike rack back though.
