Best ice cream in town. We love all the options and it's real ice cream, not some soft serve with flavoring added.

I remember going to Peaceful Meadows in Whitman, way back when they had cows outside grazing in the evening. There were picnic tables that we would sit at, in order to enjoy our ice creams. While also enjoying the early evening breeze and the gorgeous seasonal changes along with the company of my siblings as well as my cousins just playing after we enjoyed our ice creams at the picnic tables and got to pet the big cows in the barn. As well as play with the babies and spending the rest of the time. We’d be playing games like red rover, tag, doing kart wheels and flips all on the grassy area “so the cows could see us and we’d walk up to the fence and try letting the cows lick us” We would do that from the time I was a wee little one, with my grandparents, my parents, Aunts and Uncles. As well as my cousins and any friends we were allowed to take with us! I always loved seeing the cows, especially the littlest calfs! I especially enjoyed when you could play withs the baby animals, as they weren’t always little enough to play with! As I grew up, I still enjoyed going to peaceful meadows with my friends and siblings, cousins etc. I would go many times with my family for ice cream on a nice evening, as well! Peaceful Meadows also has a little store where they sell coffee milk, among regular and chocolate. Cheeses, yogurt, eggs, homemade baked goods and Country style Knick knacks, along with other novelty items. Plus homemade candles and even unique cooking items, plus jars of bag a balm ointment and honey. Along with so many other items, that truly make this adorable little Country store a wonderful find as well as a unique gift shop too. The cow’s would either be in the barn and you could pet them and their names would be on a card above them with a little amount of information about their personality. They also have very little animals off to the right and have them chained off or roped off (so you can always pet and play with them, as it’s so fun to play with the little ones who are discovering new things everyday and they are so playful and fury. Just so much adorable fun! I would always head for the bard first! There were also cows hooked up to provide milk, as well as cows outside grazing. I will always be so happy for so many amazing cherished memories, at peaceful meadows! That’s not even the best part either...their ICE CREAM is homemade and comes in so many flavors! They have a couple special flavors every month too. Frozen yogurt! Along with a special sundae, monthly! Sundae packs for party’s! It’s amazing and you should not miss out on the experience!
