I love this place. You can still unearth shove pretty fine crystal specimens. The place is usually crowded on the weekends, but you won't have trouble finding your own places to dig. Groundscores are possible but usually very small. Although my roommate find a nice point the size of a golf ball lying there waiting for her, I walked right passed it, doh! Yesterday's visit had mx bikes ripping all around and actually drove up to the top of the mountain. Which I thought was careless, there were multiple families up there, with kids and pets. Not a great place to ride. Alas, dig at your own risk.
