I am a Union member and I joined the Credit Union because my credit wasnt good and I needed a loan. I was told by the representative that all I needed was to provide my union card, drivers license , be a member for 30 days and have my company contribute funds to my account. I did all the above and when I finally made the 30 days . I was told that I have to have a credit score of 600 in order to get a loan. The representative told me that they were very flexible with credit score and to come in and speak to the manager at Elektra. I went in the office and spoke to him and he denied me without even checking my credit. I also find that he was racist to me because I am black with a Caribbean accent. “THIS IS AMERICA”

The worst place to answer a phone call. Line always busy including their fax line. Very antique place that only has one phone line and no on-line service, no website, and no other than going in person or writing a letter to request your money. It Needs a huge update ASAP!

I asked about creating an account and not being able to go in person, maybe if there was another way to apply? Rudely responds “we can send out information to your address”. I give her my info and I asked if she might know how long it would take. Rudely again, “how should I know I don’t deliver them”. I said “Okay a little more enthusiasm would be nice ..” then she hung up on me. Now I don’t know if she’ll even follow through with my submission
