What a great visit even though it was chilly out. A few raptors in the cages, but I suppose 54゚ isn't too cold for them? The walk was a great way to spend an hour this afternoon exploring the place. Can't believe it's free! Very nice!

Nice place to go on a nature walk. Good family place for kids and it's free!

Loved the walkways and my kids had a blast seeing the birds. Pathways were clear and pathways were nicely marked. Loved the views. Bathrooms could use a bit of updating, but they were clean and stocked.

I understand some of the negative reviews. The grass is grown up, there is some trash, there is some graffiti, some of the boards are rotten, one of the trails is closed, etc... Overall though, my family and I had a very nice time here today. The weather was perfect, the owls and hawks were cool to see, we saw several turtles and fish, and it was just a peaceful and relaxing experience. The walk is flat and easy. It is shaded most of the way. Considering the City of Jackson is completely broke and can't even maintain the paved roads around town, I am very happy to have this little park here. For those complaining, I am sure the city would allow you to volunteer your time to clean and fix things up a bit. If you're looking for a nice, relaxing, peaceful outdoor experience without a long drive, I would recommend this place.

Only if there is not of lot of other vehicles, but the space by lake is large enough, exit is different road check residential restrictions
No, it takes you across a bridge & the trail ends
There is a pavilion with tables. Idk about grill.
I'm not exactly sure but I think it's almost a mile to the lake on the backside. There are signs posted at the beginning of the trail with exact distances of each trail.

It's the coolest lil wooden walkway/bridge that snakes through a Cyprus Grove that is often flooded at least a little. There have injured endangered Raptors that they rehabilitate! They are in one spot along the walkway and are one of my very favorite things. The walkway comes to an opening (most all of the path is shaded by trees and it's cool even in the summer), and suddenly you are skimming across the top of the lake on your path to a cute little lookout tower. Lots of flora and fauna. One of my favorite places and one of the best kept secrets in this area.
I believe ot open all year
Try their web site. Unlikely to get an answer like that here.
I agree. They should be able to help one way or another.
It's a beautiful nature walk...all boardwalk... birds of prey to see along the way and a peaceful, tranquil place. Nice clean bathrooms too!!
