It is the in October the closest Sunday to the feast of St. Francis.
While there are no instruments for general public use, the Cathedral does have a variety of programs for community and student groups. You could give them a call and see if any of these groups could use a volunteer pianist.
On Friday, October 26th, we host our annual Halloween Extravaganza with a showing of Nosferatu followed by the procession of the ghouls at 7 pm and 10 pm! Info and tickets on stjohndivine.org
For a blessing.is priceless....tell them you want a blessing and there maybe no charge.
I believe it's the first Friday in October, not sure of the exact time. It's in the cathedral's website, though, under the Calendar tab

I have never heard of anything of the kind. If it did happen, go straight to the Bishop at 5th and 50th.
I'm not sure, but they have a few charitable programs for the community they are in.

There is some parking, metered areas, as well as garages. Best to Google it and plan ahead of time, or come a little early to find a spot. It is Manhattan after all.
