Director Julie Spann and all the employees at Blodgett Memorial Library are absolutely awesome

A quaint community library nestled in the historic village of Fishkill with a longstanding presence. It continues to be an inspirational and enriching learning opportunity for readers from young children to senior citizens. Reading a book to yourself or listening to someone else reading to you enables people to explore and expand their minds to unlimited possibilities. The Blodgett Library has friendly, (knowledgeable and helpful librarians and/or volunteers that contribute to making reading and special library endorsed events a positive influence for all involved. They have a good selection of loaner fiction and non-fiction books 📚 for various ages and interests from A to Z. Story time is so much fun for youngsters and staff make the books and illustrations come to life for them. Even though we have computers and the internet we still need to support our library system. Getting a library card is a worthwhile pursuit in my opinion.

LIBRARY SHOULD BE A QUIET PLACE TO STUDY,READ AND WORK ON COMPUTER IN PEACE Blodgett library is far from that. The Liberians and patrons are are very noise .
