I’ve been shopping at Meijer almost exclusively for over 25 years. I’ve been to just about every location in Macomb county at least a few times, but this is my local Meijer. For some reason, this location is the least effective. I was excited about the remodel a couple years ago, but they took away the big no-limit self check outs, and replaced them with a bunch of regular checkouts that are never open. That decision just never made any sense to me. The no limit self checkouts were a life saver when the store was busy. I’ve split most of my shopping between this location and the one in New Haven. New Haven seems to be much better.

This Meijer never has bags for the produce and they NEVER have enough registers open. The day before a holiday they have 2 open. Wow great management of staff.

The employees are rude, most of them will not help a customer. I saw an employee yelling at a customer for asking where something was, this employee was yelling..... I'm not customer service go ask them. When you go to check out there will only be 2 lines open and only half of the self scans. If the customer is doing the work why doesn't the customer get a discount?

I wish I could give 0 stars, this stores employees SUCK. During a formula shortage and 5$ gas prices they won’t even tell me if they have formula in stock I just get to drive around wasting gas praying I’ll find it because their websites update every 3 days so that’s not a source. You’d think people would want to help parents especially because THESE ARE BABIES WERE LOOKING FOR FORMULA FOR, but nope. Their all just annoyed their working through it NOT ACTUALLY LIVING THROUGH IT. So store employees, think about how that parent feels trying to feed their baby, next time you want to be rude because their asking about formula. It’s sick.
