The clerks were no help. I understand everyone’s role is limited; however, try showing empathy. This is my first time filing for divorce and just simply stating put it in the basket is quite vague. Then I asked another clerk about how I pay and I won’t even quote her. Remember you too shall need assistance from others.

Judges are ruthless 8 years of restraining order! No real Reason seams like they favor a parent from the beginning! Judge's have no feelings or heart its just all business cold as ice

Mediators will misconstrued what you say and take sides and out- rightly lie.. I had issues with three Mediators. Because of them they ruined my life. And who knows how many lives they ruined. San Bernardino county needs to get rid of their services. L.A county don't use their services. Now I understand why.

Go to family court which is the old court building walk in and make a left theres a hallway with a door on your right hand side that says document control they can sell you a copy of your divorce papers there.
We had a court hearing but due to COV19 we never got a hearing or further appt from the court were in La county Gone 3 times everytime they were close
It all depends
When you request an order for custody/ visitation you can request anything you want. In most cases where you dont have an agreement with the other party the court will order both parties to family court services for mediation. The mediator will try to help both sides come to an agreement. If an agreement cannot be reached the judge will ultimately decide.
Go ask legal aid.
Go the back ground level.. you'll find the resource center.. they can give you what you need to file..
I would start at historic court family division. Either document control or the resource center.
You would go inside the family courthouse and go to the Document Control area. Have your I.D. and case number ready with a brief description of what you would like to obtain. Unfortunately, since COVID is a thing.. They are not doing any physical copies at the moment. So everything is online. They can help you with that in person with a computer that's provided in the same room. Or you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
I am not really sure. But you can make an appointment to request documents and forms. You can also use the court computers to look up some info and they have a resource center that opens at 8am where you can go and get help. Everyone has been really helpful when I go.
Sorry I was just visiting I'm not from California at all
I would suggest the San Bernardino Child Support office
You can call the local mortuary
You need to contact the clerks off 909-521-3136 they're open Mon-Fri 8:00-12:00
Do u have ur case number? U can call in and ask? 9092698826
I would start here: https://www.sb-court.org/divisions/family-law You can get questions answered and download forms. If you would like a Family Law Attorney referral, my attorney is great! She truly cares. DM me.
online using your case number
And any court date that they set up for you, picking up documents and and emergency meeting with the judge they might set in place
Talk to the clerk and have your ID . I'm going through the same.
Yes they do. You have to file the paper work on first floor
If you need to get divorce papers started you can go to the court website sb-court.org/
You file your adoption petition with family court. As to the name you will need to provide more information.
Yes
I'm not an attorney. Sometimes you can call the court clerk.
They are open. But they are not letting everyone into the building unless you have a heading or have emergency orders. Only drops for all other filings or mail them in.
If you or your spouse never filed for divorce you are still married.
Unfortunately no. It must be filed at the same court that it was originally filed in. The courts are not letting people file these types of filings inside the court at this moment. So I recommend you mail it in and not waste the trip
Only open until 2pm with limited resources available.
You will need to go the Family Law Building. Courts are only open from 8-2 Monday-Friday. You might have to submit your request by mail or in person. Then they will notify you when they are ready to be picked up.. They are limiting the amount of people who go into the court
For emergency matters only. Hours are 8:30-12:00
Me too, I'm freaking out, hearing tomorrow morning. Why wasn't I notified if it was canceled/ postponed? I've called every number I could find...
Yes' Fontana District Court is where you file your answer. Sherman Peters Jon Serve Associates California Process Servers Network jon-serveprocess.com
You can go view it online at www.sb-court.org or come in person to the courthouse. A party must live in the county of San Bernadino for 6 months to file a case at the Courthouse.
In the Family Court, which is the old Court, go in and go left and go to the door that says document control, and they can help you oh go to the San Bernardino court page and press your case number and it tells you .
You need a lawyer. QDROs are very involved.
Go in and see a clerk
Absolutely
www.sb-court.org Go to Online Services Accept: Enter Case No.
Go to document control in family law on the first floor
If it was court ordered because the other party cannot be located you would need to post an ad in the local paper for the last known area of the absent party, the ad must run 4 weeks. The proof of the ad has to be filed in the clerks office on the first floor of the old courthouse.
Yes
You can just go up there or like how you were on Google to write this question, you already had the phone number
351 North Arrowhead is the mailing address.
Go ask legal aid. SB and Redlands both have them and they're free or at the least very affordable
Legal aid can help you, it's free. Google it
There is an option to fax file, however this requires a small fee. You will need to go to the courts website to sign up for it. The correct mailing address is 351 N. Arrowhead Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92407
Yes, if there is room in the courtroom and if you are not a witness that is excluded by motion.
No
No. There are services that you can use online that will fill out and file your paperwork for you but you cannot do it directly with the Court online.
You can't. You either show up before your date and get added to the calendar to see the judge or come on the day you were told to appear. If you dont do either of those you can count on having a warrant and a new charge for failing to appear.
Ask legal aid. Redlands has on by the YMCA. Your city may have their own.
Yes
In the parking lot
