So much to look through! You must have the time and patience to look just through all of the clothes alone. Don't get me started on the back room items and furniture. The line was almost to the back of the store w/only 2 cashiers at one point. Another finally came to assist. I'll have to come back another day when I have the mental capacity to deal w/all of the people and look through all of the clothes racks. I was happy w/the couple items I purchased.

Nobody ever answers the phone when you call the Salvation Army located on Little River Turnpike in Alexandria. FIX THIS PROBLEM !

Prices were very high on certain items that were definitely not worth it. They didn’t have a set place for things like sewing and fiber art, which my hometown Salvation Army makes a surprisingly good effort in. Kids were running around and, though there were not many people there, I was surprised at the amount of times I had to basically step over people when roaming the store.
Do you take vacuum cleaners? I have a Dyson in perfect condition, I also cleaned it completely. Only giving this one away because I just got the cordless one
Does the Salvation Army accept clean rags -- essentially cut up shirts and towels?

Monday through Friday from 10am until 4pm. Drive past the store to the last driveway on the left. There is a sign there that says info about donations. Drive behind the store and they will help you. You can receive a receipt for the items which you can use when you file your income taxes.
