I have been camping my entire life. We used to only stay at the Covered Bridge but as that campground became more reserved vs. first come it got to hard to find a site. We moved over to Blackberry and so glad we did. The campground is small but full of history. The host are ALWAYS so kind. Truly a wonderful campground to relax, enjoy family, and nature.

Clean campground, hosts are nosy and are quick to threaten with calling the sheriff even outside quiet hours if they think you are talking too loud or have music on. Do not recommend for a good camping weekend, better for a single night stay for traveling.

This quiet little campground is like home away from home to us. We have been coming here for over ten years now. Its got a fire pit or fire rings at each site with a picnic table with wheelchair access at each site. Some sites have buit in charcoal grills. They have vaulted toilets. Bring a flashlight theres no power but thats what camping is suppose to be. We love it its right across from covered bridge on the kanc. Couple miles down from lower falls. My favorite part is theres little to no cell service so its off the grid. So kids are more likely to ride bikes, swim, play card games and draw then have their faces stuck in a screen. My neices and nephew love it here. Quiet time is at 10pm check out is at 12pm we stay the week usually. Theres no reservation so first come first serve. They have a well pump for drinking water. With a really awesome old fashion handle to pump water with. Theres river tubing 3-5 miles up the road at numerous locations. A walkin doc office right up the road. With shops and stores. And then just 10 to 13mins up the road you have army surplus store and llbean . we love this campsite. Their price on bundles is fair. But pick up some kindling it always helps!

My family and I have been going to this campground for YEARS. It's nice and quiet, the hosts are so friendly, and the history behind the grounds is interesting. Total recommend going there, but you have to save a spot!
