Very spacious. I like the lane sign up process they have with the tablets and they will text you when your lane opens up. Especially handy when it gets packed on weekends and it gets PACKED. Oh if you want to shoot on the 100 yard range on the weekend you better shot up when they open. A lot of people bring their rifles for it. Considering they are the only ones with an indoor 100 yard lanes, yeah people flock to it. Customers to me always been good. I also read some people saying they don't treat minorities well. Me being a minority, I personally never experienced it from the staff. Some customers, but never from the staff. Guy complaining about the range man trap door and how he didn't know he had to wait for the 1st door to be closed to open the 2nd door.. that is clearly covered in the range safety video. Not only that, EVERY RANGE has that. That is done in EVERY RANGE. Not only in Virginia, but every gun range. Prices aren't bad considering it's a range. People complaining about ammo prices there, yeah it sucks ammo prices are so high.. but that's every where and every range has a mark up. And for a range it isn't bad. Firearm prices are more than reasonable. Range officers are professional and polite. As long as you are following the range safety rules, they don't care what you are doing. People complaining about them, in ANY gun range there are safety rules for a reason and all they care about is you following them. As long as you do, they don't care. Sorry you can't take a selfies/your next album cover with your rented pistol because the muzzle isn't down range. This place is a little far from me, but I make it out whenever I have the chance and I have always had a great experience.
Virginia homes
Great costumer service and friendly staff.

Awesome range, awesome facilities, and best experience I've had doing an FFL transfer. I really can't recommend this place to go shooting enough. Also the ammo is extremely inexpensive even when compared to online pricing. I do have one bad experience I'd like to warn people of. For a friends birthday we were going to take their CCW classes. Me and one other friend signed up on our own and another guy signed up a group of 3 people. Elite made a mistake and didn't put the group of 3 in the class despite taking their money. They rectified this by moving them to the class the following month. However - for those of us who DIDN'T have a problem signing up for the class we were stuck. We couldn't transfer classes, we couldn't get any money back, there was nothing they would do. Elite screwed up and it was OUR problem not theirs. I will continue to buy their ammo, I will continue to use their lanes but I am never again going to pay for a class from them. edit: While I did not have a good experience with their customer service desk after writing this their COO reached out to me. I got a full refund after she was able to confirm my story. I did not attempt to reach out to them they saw this review and made it right. They also DID NOT ask me to alter this review at all. I am opting too. No complaints in retrospec I should pushed a little harder to reach upper management when CS wasn't working with me.

First class operation. This has got to be the BEST RANGE IN THE UNITED STATES! If that sounds over the top, it's because it is! Highly recommend the yearly membership.

Elite Shooting Sports works with Coatings USA. Call Elite and/or Coatings USA for more information. You can coordinate your coating with Coatings USA and can drop off your firearm at Elite where they will pick up/drop off.
You have to pay $10 for a card and watch a saftey video for what they expect you knownbefore allowed on range. Membership is different. Its on there website. https://www.eliteshootingsports.com
No.
No, if it is real crowded you sign in on the computers at the center pole. When a lane opens they call the next person in line. You only get to shoot an hour on that day. If it is quit you can shoot as long as you want.
Air rifles are not allowed as they fire and handle differently. I just called to check after seeing this question.
Yes. Check in at the front desk and get a card, pay your fee, watch a 15 min video, and hit the ranges.
Yes, I took my 13 yr old.
Paper targets only
ESS is a public range. They may or may not have a CMP affiliated club. I highly doubt it. Your best bet is to call them and ask if they have an affiliated club that uses their facility. Also, contact the NRA HQ range, that might have an affiliated club there.
As Wayne indicated, no license needed. Cost is $20 per hour.
They are normal hours 9 to 9 today
Just go to the concealedcarryinstitute.Com

25,50 and 100 yards
I haven't ever seen suppressors for sale there. They did have a small selection of firearms for sale though last time I was there. For suppressors, I would check out Sterling Arsenal. They have a fairly wide selection. Plus they can write you up a trust there.
You have to purchase them, they sell many styles plan and also the market ones that show where your rounds hit. They sell them in packages or single there prices are very reasonable.
Yes, they do.
You can bring your own gun in a case. If you have a concealed carry permit, you can rent from them, but then you have to buy their ammo to used the rented gun.
You can rent firearms from their catalogue of pistols and rifles for rent. The only caveat is that you must use their ammo in rented guns. If they run out of that ammo (9mm, for instance), then you cannot rent a firearm of that caliber. If you bring your own firearm, you can use your own or their ammo. (No steel core and there are limits on shotgun ammo.)
The peak days/ times are on Google...if you Google search the company name.
