I traveled 90 minutes to visit here. I thought that everything was handmade & only the hanging vintage ornaments off the ceiling were not for sale? I was in shocked to see everything was factory made. …I am not as talented as you and can't make ornaments .... just embellish them with my hand made bows... I do make all the Wreaths, Swags, Centerpieces and other arrangements displayed throughout the barn..I have been in business for 47 years and buy all my ornaments from trusted vendors.. Again I admire your ability to make ornaments... God gives us different talents... Wishing you a Blessed Christmas Season and continued success in your crafting.. jim d

Such a beautiful and enchanting family run Christmas shop. It is a treasure trove of ornaments; vintage or with an old world feel. The place is decked floor to ceiling with baubles, wreaths and ribbons yet feels cozy and inviting. Prices are very reasonable and families are welcome. A shy Irish Setter rests happily near the checkout area. Great service too.

We are accessible for handicap .... we have a down stairs and up stairs entrances for the handicap... Our driveway up to the back is the next driveway off Northwest Road it leads to the ground level entrance to the second floor...drive to the flag pole the door is there. The lower driveway is ground level to the first floor... Our old barn is build into a hill thus two ground levels..

I would say if they love Christmas, a solid hour is needed. Jim has quite a bit of nostalgia items in cases to look at and the detail in his homemade decorations are amazing. With Christmas music in the background and warm spiced apple juice to sample, the Oakwood barn is a Christmas dream!
No we do not stock the D-56 line anymore... We did from day one and we were a Gold Key Dealer...The interest in D-56 died in the early 2000's.. D-56 became difficult to deal with and we made the decision to discontinue the line... The collectible industry has been dying a slow death for years...Most of the collectibles can be purchased now on line directly from the individual company....
