No, the Gaithersburg HELP Pantry is closed on holidays, including Thanksgiving, but thanks for your offer of support!
There is usually someone at the Gaithersburg HELP Pantry Monday-Friday, 2pm-3pm. It is best to coordinate first and let our Pantry Director know what food you wish to bring and how much. Call our main number 301-216-2510 and press 4 to leave a message in our Donations mailbox, or use the Contact form on our web site (gaithersburghelp.org/contact) and select Topic/Category "Donate Food or Funds".
Generally weekday evenings but by appointment only. To make an appointment, call our voicemail service at 301-216-2510 before 1pm on the day you wish to come, select the service needed (i.e., Food/Infant Needs, Prescription Funding, Transportation, Financial Support and Referrals), then clearly leave your name and phone number (please repeat your number) so our volunteers can call you back to begin the service process.
Yes. To apply for any volunteer position, the applicant must fill out a volunteer application on our web site at gaithersburghelp.org/volunteer-application. When applying for SSL hours, under Volunteer Positions, check "Student or Group SSL Hours".
