There are a few places acquire gifts along the strip!
Depending upon how much you walk. You can but you should look up the distance.
It may be better to stay near the harbor. It is about a 30 to 45 minutes drive from 6 flags of America. Try to be at flags around 7am before it gets crowded!
There is a metro bus, and water taxi service from Alexandria as well
