Getting Past
They only want the commission. Called to have a system repaired, the "experienced" tech acted completely stumped, pretended it was so old they had never even seen it and couldnt touch it, quoted me a full system replacement for $10,000. My system was 10yrs old and had been serviced in 2016 so its not that old, just a basic sulfur-cleer which doesnt even use salt, its just media in a tank with an air pump and a timed valve. These are all over youtube, very simple and common systems. When I pressed the OTHER tech (who was a pretty nice guy) to rebed the media he admitted they could service the existing unit. The experienced tech finally admitted they could service it for $760 but couldn't guarantee the work and would have to come next week to do it. Before leaving they charged me $150 despite the fact that they really did nothing at all. They pressed one button. p My conclusion was that the "experienced" tech just wanted sales commissions and the other guy genuinely wanted to fix stuff but was not in charge. When I chatted up the nice guy on the way out he mentioned that they had seen the same system as mine just a week ago. So the "surprise" was all an act huh. Decided to order replacement media from a third party at full retail price and repaired the unit myself for a total cost of $317. Cleaning the piston and o-rings was simple. I will replace the entire system myself before I ever let culligan sell me a 10k system financed over 10 years. When you finally pay it off they tell you the system is 10 years old and needs to be replaced. No you can't even buy parts from them. You can install your own system of any other brand for a couple thousand.

Unethical Billing Practices. Just got charged a finance charge on a zero balance and the got charged two bucks to mail me a statement around a finance charge on a zero dollar bill.

Great water Softener along with a fantastic crew that installed it. Culligan also has a great maintenance plan! Yes, my husband and I highly recommend Culligan Water Softener team!

You need to put it on bypass and call your local Culligan dealer.
The yellow exclamation point on the bottom of the CleerLink button indicates an issue with the unit. Typically, the batteries I the button need to be changed (2-AAA) by peeling the rubber cover off the back. If the yellow exclamation mark persists after changing the batteries, it is likely that the filters in the Reverse Osmosis need to changed. You can call the office to set up an appointment at which time we can perform any required maintenance on both the reverse osmosis and water softener, if you have one. Hopefully this answers your question, if not please call and we can get everything sorted out.
