The previous owners for 25+ years Mai,Bruce & family were some of the nicest people I ever met! The new owner Huan & his wife are always exceptionally nice and professional. I dine in & get takeout regularly. My favorite is the sashimi dinner!! A special thank you to the manager “King” she is always very kind and helpful. The sushi & hibachi food is always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend!!

Outrageous prices, rude staff. 5 stars changed to 3. Food is still ok.

I don't know if they have hibachi at lunchtime. We went in June. They are now charging extra for steak. I believe it was $25.95 for steak and chicken combo. Not worth it.
You should be able to get a seat fairly quickly without a reservation, if you can't reach the restaurant by phone. I never have had a long wait or problems any time I've gone to Sakura.
We were there on a Saturday and plenty of birthday songs were sung, but no clue about free dinners.
No
All of the staff was wearing masks and all the customers were also wearing masks to and from their table. They had the hibachi tables spaced out so that you are only within your group at the table and the next table was empty, and so forth. They also removed all of the soy sauce and "communal" table items like salt and pepper, so that everyone gets their own personal cups of soy if you ask. I felt pretty safe eating here, and I think they are doing the best they can with what we are working with!
Not free, but they do go all out. The show will be a little better, and they might even let you/your kids participate in cooking. They'll sing to you in Japanese, and let you bring in your own cake
I get a free meal every year, where are you guys talking about?
