Nice place to start you day and enjoy! Pet friendly and some restrictions during certain hours as far as pets (see the website for details) but I recall thinking it was nothing to restrictive. $10 to park for the day OR $20 for a year what a great deal. It’s good to the day you buy the pass not a calendar year. People at the entrance are always very kind. Highly recommended 👍

There is a gate at the park entrance that is locked at closing time which is 9pm during the summer. 6pm, I think during winter. Gate opens at 6 am.
No,public pier. fishing from shore is free for salt water florida resident but still need the license
