DO YOUR RESEARCH!! There are a ton of "fitness trainers" and "experts" out there. Just do your research and make sure you find a credible trainer with the education and experience behind them to fully understand how the body works. My goal is to teach my clients how their body works and how to move it most efficiently, being as functional as possible like we are in every day life... and of course find a trainer whose ultimate goal is to help you achieve all-time happiness!
Recently, I had a new client who has diabetes get her A1C (hemoglobin) under control for the first time in years!! She's down from 10.67 all the way to 6.7 in just 2 months!!! It has been amazing to watch her progress in her journey! When we get it down under 6.5 this month, she will be off all her medications!
I graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Wellness Management. While going through the major, I completed 2 years of Fitness and Health Management Internships, training high level high-school athletes designing and monitoring their exercise programs based on both team and individual goals, as well as the anatomy and abilities of each individual, constantly pushing them to their max potential. After enjoying helping these young players grow, I realized I have a true ambition to help people get fit and healthy, and now I believe I have unfinished business in the industry. I want to help people feel and look the best they can, and by working together we can achieve those goals.
ALL shapes, sizes, and age groups. I have had people with plenty of injuries and medical conditions as well, including but not limited to: * TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) * MS * torn rotator cuffs (pre and post surgery) * torn labrums (pre and post surgery) * torn ligaments in knees (LCL, ACL, MCL) (pre and post surgery)
BS in Exercise Science and wellness management 2 fitness/health management internships variety of courses for my major included: strength & conditioning sports psychology injury rehab and prevention
Have a one-on-one initial assessment to see what my clients goals are and to relay the goals I have for them. I introduce my clients to a proper dynamic warmup, along with a couple exercises you might see in the future just to see where you're at with your fitness! This will allow me to design a program for your specific goals and abilities.
